SORBAcsra is currently working with Long Cane Trails, LLC to complete a reroute on the Wine Creek Trail. Two sawyers and two safety/swampers went out today to cut corridor in preparation for the machines to be brought in next weekend. SORBAcsra is assisting in order to facilitate getting more actual mileage completed in this reroute. The reroute will take the trail up above the floodplain that has been a continuing problem on this trail over the past decade or so. If you can assist, we need 12 to 15 trail finishers on Sunday morning (April 30). Please email us at SORBAcsra if you can assist. Most of our work involves trail maintenance with lopping, mowing and some tread work. This is an opportunity to participate in the trail building process. Thank you! Jon Taylor cutting corridor in prep for the machine!

If you did sign up you should have received an email from me within the last few minutes with work party details, if you did not please reach out to sorba.csra@gmail.com (I might have an old email address for you on file). Thank you!
