Went for a little exploration today with PK out at Bussey Point up at the Lake. This is a COE recreational area that focuses on equestrians. There is a campground/day use parking area and then gated forest service roads and horse trail (did not explore these) that go to a series of points in the Lake. Two of which are five miles out and have primitive campsites and one shelter. The tread is very sandy in areas. www.sas.usace.army.mil/About/DivisionsandOffices/OperationsDivision/JStromThurmondDamandLake/PlanaVisit/Trails.aspxAlmost to the end of Pace Ferry Road. At full pool this stretch would be submerged. End of pace Ferry. Would be a great place to set up a tent. Heading out to Cadmus End PK at the End The shelter at Cadmus End. besides this there is an outhouse and a few other campsites with table and fire pit. View from the shelter. One of the campsites at Owls Island. We saw three sites, outhouse and water pump at this point. PK and dad. on the way out

funny thing is I took it and when I got home noticed we were both sticking out our tongues. Just us being silly. I guess PK is like her dad.
