Just a reminder that the Canal Crown Time Trial series starts tomorrow night! Hope to see a big crowd there. There is a slight chance of rain in the forecast. I doubt we'll have any issues, but, if we do need to postpone the race it will be announced in the main CCTT thread, at the very top, right HERE. That is where all updates/cancellations/etc will be announced for all the races, since that thread is linked to from the SORBA-CSRA homepage. Bookmark it so you can get to it easily. Bring plenty of water tomorrow, it's gonna be hot. See you at the bottom of the stairs ;D EDIT: And please be on time and bring correct change!! $5 for IMBA-SORBA members $8 for non-IMBA-SORBA members If you plan to join IMBA/SORBA (and race the series for free) bring either cash or a check made out to IMBA. We'll mail in your form/money for you. MEMBERSHIP RATES:Single Adult:-$30 Basic -$50 Supporting Family Memberships: -$50 Family Basic -$75 Family Supporting Youth Membership: -$20 Youth/Student (under 23) Higher support level prices can be found on the membership form HERE (PDF)

Can we just ride in a few races, as in I have to work two out of the four weeks, so I won't be able to make it tomorrow. Oh and Bikerpanda, I think I will smoke your 20 minute beginner time with 25 minutes, LMAO.

Try to do one race each direction tho, that way you'll have an Overall time (fastest cw + fastest ccw)

This event is more about having fun with other mt bikers than times (yes bragging rights but...) Great place to meet riders or placing a face to riders here on the forum. I am hopping to get to at least one race and if i am lucky more than one.

just in case i'll be able to make it, where is the best place to park? Most folks will park at the pumping station parking lot at the end of the tow path (if you come in from downtown). Some folks will park up at the headgates and ride down. EDIT: I'll be getting there a little after 5 tonight. I'll ride a lap and finish marking the course (Drew did some last night) and make sure the trail is in race shape. Anyone's welcome to join me. Big thanks to jp3 also, word is he's spent a good bit of time down there lately getting the trail dialed.

you can also access it from the baseball fields off of washington road. Follow the railroad tracks, you cant miss it. Quick 2 minute ride.
