We're visiting this weekend and have ridden FATS and both sides of Bartram on previous trips. Thinking of riding Modoc for something different Saturday and wonder if there is anything we should know or watch for as new riders there. I've seen "Jaws" mentioned in other threads...curious as to what that's about? Is the parking area easily found and marked?
Any advice or other opinions appreciated.
Thanks, Cliff

There's a big rock close to the entrance you've probably seen pictures of if you've looked through the Modoc thread. You'll see if coming though. Amazing trail. You should love it. I think there was a group out there recently and the "jaws" creek crossing was dry so you shouldn't have much issues.
Parking is clearly marked. Coming from 28, it's at the bottom of big hill just before a bridge. If you're cruising, you could blow right by it before you could slow down.

Thanks for the comments and link to pics. Looks like we're in for another great ride down here.

There's a little off camber hole. It's under some leaves. You'll probly find it.

Jaws is right after the "bridge to no where" about 2 miles out, near a tight switch back. It is a small rocky creek crossing.
