Wow!! Nice job!!! I got on IMBA's website and looked at the application process--that was a lot of work. Looking forward to seeing how we scored: Gold, Silver, or Bronze!

Thanks David and Paul for putting this together. You guys did a ton of work and I hope the Ride Center brings riders to the area to enjoy our trails and spend money while here.
I wonder if we need to be out there signing the long rides. I've had that on my mind for years, but it has never gotten off the back burner.

Tom Sauret Executive Director of SORBA just made the official announcement at the Georgia-lina Bike Summit that IMBA has designated the CSRA as a Bronze Level Ride Center! Only ten ride centers (gold, silver or bronze) have been designated so far in the US and internationally.

Congratulations and thank you to all the SORBAcsra members and volunteers for your tireless efforts to maintain over 150 miles of trail in the CSRA!!! Designation as an IMBA Ride Center would not have been possible without your dedication and passion.

The truth of the matter is that CSRA is one of I think 7 ride centers that have been designated in the US so far (total of 10 if you also count the international ride centers. Why is that? There are definitely other worthy locations but I suspect even though the criteria is tough, the application itself is very time-consuming and rigid. Our secret weapon was dsquaredmsquared who tirelessly worked to complete the ride center application - more than 90% of that effort came from him and in the end it was nothing short of amazing. Tom Sauret - Executive Director of IMBA/SORBA - said it definitely raised the bar for future applications! Thank you D2M2 - great job!
