I don't believe the log that was left and marked (somewhere near mile 10.5) as a rider was the one first pictured. One left was 3" above my axle while the one ken Y took looks to be axle level or below. Looked to have 1 or 2 chainring marks on it. As mentioned everyone is going straight through the wet spots. None of them were large, mostly dips. Also the small creeks all have water in them. Great ride.

WOW! I believe I posted a message about trail conditions for the Lake Springs > Petersburg section Friday night. Trees were already cut apart by the time I got there Sunday afternoon. Thanks, maintainers! I appreciate it.

Rode new Bartram last night. Trail was in good shape with only a few soft/wet spots. There is a new dead-fall just after mile 12.5 (12.7ish), small ride around had started. Some chain marks on the new marked "rider", it's too big for me ride but the approaches on either side look good. Thanks

Dam to the 'Burg is clear of trees. lake springs has one rider (w/ stacked logs) in the area where the re-routed to make one loop and there is on 4" tree floating about 18" above the trail. hand saw could clear it. this is going cw just before the trail gets real close to the road the second time.

In case no one has seen it, there is a tree across the trail ( or was) that is elevated and needs cutting. I saw it a couple of weeks ago, but now don't recall the mile mark. It was prolly 2/3 the way through from P'burg to Wildwood. I had intended to get it, but rain and time got the better of me.

Bring me up to speed on Bartram riders. Still clearing pretty much everything from P'Burg to West Dam, and leaving good riders P'Burg to Wash Rd.?

The 'burg to the Dam is viewed as a beginner friendly trail and basically everything is removed. 'burg to Washington Rd. riders are being left in place. I personally feel riders should be left on Lake Springs.

Two good riders on Lake Springs. There is another that needs a hand saw (I keep forgetting mine) near the old 'possum/rabbit junction. Also there was a wet section but I believe it has to do with the hydrants, maybe flushed them recently(?)

One tree down blocking 1/2 the trail just by the 1st bridge (near the pond) You can get by but it is in a blind spot on a small down hill section and floating 18" of the trail. Dangerous spot for the beginners/children that ride up there.
Did some clearing from the 'burg to West Dam and Lake Springs. good shape. lots of riders/hikers out there this morning. Water is still flowing on to two sections of Lake Springs. Did find where it was coming from and notified ACOE.

I would say it is about 7"-8" in diameter. I looked to big for my handsaw.

I was all set to go get it this morning, but the rain had other ideas. I will take it out in the next day or two.

It is gone. Johnny B. and I cut it out this evening and swung by FATS just to see if there were any riders. There were fresh vehicle tracks in the parking lot, and as we were leaving a truck pulled in with two fresh (sparkling clean) Treks on the back. We backed up and talked to them, suggesting it wasn't a good idea to ride considering the 3 day rain. Very nice and understanding guys, so I hope they took our advice to heart.

Two trees down between West Dam and P'burg. One is just over a mile from West Dam, the second is about a mile from P'burg. Both need a chainsaw.

The two trees mentioned, One is between the pond and site #1 (can see the campground from it) the other one is about half way between the yacht club road and Lake Springs.
