There will be a new game at Bike Fest this year: the long jump! There will be a small ramp (about a foot tall) at the end of a short runway. We'll pick a distance to start with. Each round everyone gets two tries to clear the set distance. If you can't make it, you're out. We'll move it back a little each round. We keep going till there's only one person left. Pretty much like the bunny hop and limbo contest, only laterally. Drew might even have a demo bike available to use if you want. The small kicker and short runway will keep speed, height, and risk low. We don't anyone doing this ;D : This will fun! Who's in??

We built the ramp tonight! Drew hit it a few times and said it's smooooooooth. 1ft tall, 2ft wide, a little less than 4ft long. Nice transition. Should be fun! The pieces. The frame. The ramp. The test run. See y'all tomorrow!

You wouldn't think 1ft. is tall, but that sure looks tall.

Nice pics! Here's a few my favorites you took (gotta go thru all of them later) Me, getting knocked out of the contest. Note the bad form (legs straight, low front end) Drew winning. Note the correct form (in a tuck with the wheels level) Trent with a little whip for extra distance. Banks on the take off. Stacey on the take off. Speaking of Stacey - big props for giving it a try! If you hadn't been there a lot of the boys woulda been too scared to try it. Thanks, and good job!

Michael -- those were great! Thanks so much for the link! Dustin -- Thanks for creating the ramp! I had loads of fun on on it. Also, thanks for being so encouraging! I only tried it because you and Trent were supportive!
