The SMC is almost here, and it looks like it might be a wet one!
As long as the tread on the trails stays firm we'll be using the trails, not the alternate route. I've ridden Horn before when it had 2" of standing water, but the tread was rock hard.
Who's in, and what's your goal for the day?
My goal is to finish in under six hours.

I'll be riding. My plan is to have fun and finish. Than agin I am hoping to ride 6-7 hrs. As for the day after, Sunday is family and church day. I seldom ride on Sundays. Maybe go to the pool and swim a mile.

My goal is to ride smart. Go easy on the trails. Avoid the bonk. 7 hours would be great.

No visions of grandeur here! Haven't ridden in weeks now due to tons of rain, family obligations and more family obligations. Of course, there wouldn't be any visions of grandeur even if I didn't have an excuse! Sub six hour total time. I won't be racing anyone. I want to go out on my own, set my own pace, and ride...and ride...and ride... I can't kid myself: A hunnert K's is an azz of riding. BV knows that 12 months ago I was struggling to ride 30 miles non-stop. Although we have a small field, we have some pretty hot riders, including some Sorella Girls from Atlanta. Got some fast locals too. Main goal: Don't be DFL MD

Finish is my goal.
I think I've done this thing in 6-7 hours in the past...just riding self supported.
Under 6 hours would shock me. Over 7 and I am hating it.
