Well...it may not have been the best Baker's Dozen ever, but I know I sure had a good time! So did everyone else from what I heard around the pits. It sucks it had to be called off, but it was definitely the right call, and everyone there agreed. The trail was getting trashed. When I did my lap it wasn't that bad yet, but even then the last mile and a half I don't think my bike was pointed straight the whole time!
I didn't hear anyone complaining that it was called off. If anything, people were relieved they wouldn't have to ride again.
Thanks to all that organized and planned and brought food and made it happen!
(Count me in for next year too!)

agreed i had an awesome time! i got in three laps before the call and that third one felt like a swim! they made the right call bye stopping it, the trail would have been trashed! hopfuly my money will help with the repair, it was worth the money 20 laps or two and i will def be back next year to do it again!!!
There was not an official photographer but there was a reporter there from one of the local newspapers. She is going to make the photos available to us!
I'm happy to report that we were able to make a donation to the Master's Table, a local soup kitchen, with some of the excess food from the event. Our loss was their gain and they were thrilled to receive the donation since the numbers of companies donating food items have declined recently
