David K and I cleaned Modoc on July 16th. Even cut a tree on the forest service road going to the rear access cul-de-sac. Trail is in good shape.

Great! Now if any thunderstorms between now and the Explore the Trail Ride on August 6th will not knock any trees down or maybe just a rider or two we'll be good to go!

Rode modoc today for the first time in a few weeks. If it wasn't 91 degrees, I would have though it was late fall with all the leaf litter on the trail from lack of rain. A few new trees/limbs down.

Trail is clear to the "A" point, SO and I walked the dogs this far today. Need a couple of guys to carry a tree off the trail just past the first creek. We cut a big mess of trees at the 2 mile point. In fact, they may have landed on the 2-mile post since I can't find it anymore. Let me know if there are any trees that need cutting further out.

I cut a non rider a little past the "A" sign and a small cedar at the top of the 3-mile hill. With what we cleaned up Thursday night, the trail is great to the 4-mile bridge. Didn't make it past there Thursday night.

Trail is in great shape! Make sure you wear a helmet though, the squirrels were throwing acorns at me as I rode by.....
