1st MT ride, entered from Ridge Rd., CCW - gully climb do-able that direction ? Good ride - rocky off camber is a test, but fun. Really enjoyed the short climbs. Mileage from gravel turn-around parking (Ridge Rd.) non-riders at 2.1 & 7.2 on Rock Dam trail. Same downfall previously mentioned on lead-in trail from Ridge.
Mileage for me 8.8 (did not do trails other side of office), Cliet up, road, back down to R.Dam.
Curious - park map says rock outcroppings on Rock Dam are part of "Stone Mt." ? (Stone Mt. near Decatur / Atlanta ??)
Nice morning, stayed cool under canopy all AM.

That gully has gotten more difficult over the last few months. I cleaned it several times CCW, but haven't in a while. That first drop has gotten alot taller. It is very tight in there.
At some point, the trail is going to have to move out of this gully. Not sure when, but it will happen. Water don't give up, ever.
The logs on the lead in trail are riders. I'd leave them.

the slot/gully would be place where two legal routes should be. As it is you can ride around it fine. Good example of two routes for different skill sets.
