Here is your chance to give back. The May Workparty has been set:
Saturday May 21@ 9:00am at Keg Creek Meet in the parking area on left before the Keg Creek Bridge.
We will be clearing the overhanging limbs that slap you in the face. Bring water, work gloves and your favorite pair of loppers. We'll have the 3 power hedgers there to speed things along. The trail workers will split into three groups to get as much complete as possible.
This does conflict with the Ladies Ride, but I encourage you (ladies) to participate in the ride. We'll have plenty of work in the future.
Please respond to email letting me know if you can make the workparty (to help with planning). You don't need to let me know you can't make it.
Thanks, Daniel Allen Trail Coordinator 706-799-1531(cell)
Thanks to all for coming out Saturday - we met our objectives. Three crews lopped and trimmed the southern portion of Keg. Volunteers were Jon Taylor, Robert and Debbie Burton, Mark Yarbrough, Johnny Burnham, Daniel Allen, Marco White and me.
