Membership Report
• The 200th member signed up during the April monthly meeting.
Trails Report
• FATS: USFS will be having prescribed burns in April.
• After the storms on April 4, 60 trees were removed from the Bartram Trail. Still have 21 non-riders down on Keg. Other trails also have many trees down.
• Purchased plastic trail blazes for Keg, Bartram, and Baker Creek trails.
• April work party: Saturday, April 23rd at Hartwell Lake’s Paynes Creek Area.
Other Business
• Ladies Ride: May 21st, 10:00 a.m. at Bartram. Meet at the Petersburg trailhead.
• Explore the Trail Series ride for April: Saturday, April 30th at Mistletoe State Park. Ride starts at 10:30 a.m.
• Best Dam Ride: April 17th. Put on by Chain Reaction Bicycles. Proceeds will be donated to the Burn Foundation. SORBA/CSRA will man the sag stops on the mountain bike portion of the ride.
• Phil Cohen, owner of Chain Reaction, received an advocacy award from the Frost Bike Dealer Expo. As part of the award he made a $1,000 donation to SORBA/CSRA. Congratulations to Phil on his award, and a big thanks for the donation to the club. The money will be used for signage for the new section of the Bartram Trail.
• Membership Drive—five members signed up at the membership drive tent at FATS. Tents will be set up again on April 23rd and May 14th. Our goal is 225 members by the end of May.
• CPR and First Aide classes for NMBP and sawyers will be offered in April or May.
• Working on a “New Visitor Page “ for the website, and a New Member Information packet.

• National Trails Day: June 4 with Upstate SORBA and Midlands chapters at the Long Cane Horse Trail.
• Lock-to-Lock Ride: May 15th by Andy Jordan’s Bicycle Warehouse. The ride starts at 2:30 p.m.
• Baker’s Dozen: October 22nd with a rain date of October 29.
