I believe the DR requires a 32" wide clearance. Most 4 wheelers are wider than that. Most of the time it doesn't seem to matter - they will just skirt the tree and join up on the trail on the other side.

While out on Turkey to try to get that monster Sweet Gum out took a note of trail conditions, the trail was in great shape despite the rain this past week. Reported was plus 5 inches over the past week but I do realize due to the pop ups it is unlikely that any one place got that volume.
Turkey just needs wheels - after the Sweet Gum was removed still have a few more downed trees but hopefully after the work party today Turkey/Wine will be fully open for business and ready to ride!

Just about all of Turkey has now been mowed or hand lopped. I got the remainder of the downed trees.

First time on this trail, I liked it Decent amount of sticks and such on the trail, no big deal. A few large branches/tree tops down across the trail, was able to move all but one or two that will need a hand saw to clear. one already has a walkaround, but no big deal. there's a tree across the trail at the first or second creek overlook coming from Price's Bottom that will probably need a chainsaw, but may be a rider for some. Enjoyed this trail, nice to get into the woods in the middle of nowhere

Turkey is in great shape, didn't hit a single web the whole ride. Fantastic day in the forest its just gorgeous out there, Some really slick turns with the pine straw starting to fall, sure is fun to slide through that stuff.

Turkey is beautiful right now and it was not blazing hot in the woods despite it being over 90 degrees everywhere else. You need to ride it. Only thing down is a large tree on the Key Bridge side of the boardwalk.
