Would like to do an endurance race (4 person team ) and was just thinking how to train for that. I assume a speedy lap and than a 2-3 hour rest before doing it again. Anything else besides riding that would help. ps. anyone know about a close race like this? or maybe a date has not been set.

It won't be confused with a normal ride with some breaks in between. It will also be ALOT bigger participation than a local 12-13 hour race.

I'd get a hotel room. You can ride in / out of it.
Oct 8 camping shouldn't be bad. But at midnight - 8 am , having a bed is nice. It's wild getting up at 4am to ride a lap.
I did the 24 up there one year and it was cold. I was happy to have the room.
