Car was broken into via smashed window on Saturday, September 24th at the West Dam lot. We were the only ones parked there. Be careful everyone.

A GA state park pass is only 50 bucks and you can enter and park at any SP or historic site. Also if you have a library card, you can actually check out a park pass just as you would a book and use it to enter and park safely inside state parks.(according to GA parks web site.) Wednesday are free, park in side the park and be safer. www.gastateparks.org/ThingsToKnow#SavingTips

Will that also get you into the Corps of Engineer run recreation areas around the Lake?

there is a separate ACOE annual pass you can get at their visitor center or pay booths such as P'burg or Lake Springs. Used to cost $25 but I haven't gotten one in about 4-5 years.
