1. Treasurer Report- $7,776 in total funds, some is restricted to certain trails. We have not seen all the money from the IMBA silent auction yet.
2. Recap of Modoc ETTR
3. We have the new gas-power hedge trimmer.
4. We have mileage markers for the new Bartram trail through Wildwood that will be installed.
5. We need to send our 2011 events to main Sorba to put on a schedule- SMC, Bike Fest. Any other ideas?
6. September 4th: ETTR- Wine/Turkey; Saturday; more info will be on the site.
7. September 25th: SMC (Sumter Metric Century) It will start at Hamilton Branch State Park (about 2 miles north of Modoc on Hwy 28). See the web site for full details. Dustin is in charge, still needs a few more volunteers. We are looking for a big grill. This is the club’s only fund raiser scheduled for this year.
8. September 26th: ESI Ironman- the club is manning the 2nd bicycle water stop, same as last year. Volunteers are needed- time is about 8am to 1pm; contact Paul Farrow- pfarrow at comcast dot net.
9. October 9th: Steve Morrone is looking for volunteers to help with or participants in his adventure race. Involves trekking, canoe, and bicycle; about 45 miles total, should take 6-8 hours to complete. See kandoadventures.com or contact kando1 at kandoadventures dot com; 803-292-1900.
10. October 10th: Ross Douglas is looking for volunteers to help with the Lake Olmstead cyclocross race; help is needed mostly in the morning 9-12; all day would be 9-2. Ross gives a donation to Sorba proportional to the number of volunteers. Contact mosovich at comcast dot net
11. November 6th: Fall Bike Fest, Paul has talked to the Corp about using Lake Springs again. No demo trailers scheduled yet so talk to your local bike shop. Same plan as before- a group ride, free food, bike games, etc.
