our DR guru? A piece broke on one of the DR's today that we need to get fixed. I don't mind taking care of it if I just knew who we deal with on getting parts.

If someone can get it over to his shop (Motion Metalworks - 1051 Franke Industrial Drive in Augusta - just off Barton Chapel Road) he is always willing to give us a hand to assess what is wrong, what parts need to be ordered, if possible repair, etc. The phone number there is (706)790-5009 if someone wants to confirm a time to drop off!

It is just a bracket that attaches to the blade clutch. If he is in the metal bidness he could prolly fabricate one in no time.
MD, any chance you could remove one nut (on the mower that is, LOL) and take that bracket off? It is on the mower on the left and is pretty obvious when you look down on the deck at the clutch.

Anything happen in order to fix the muffler bracket on the other DR? Are you referring to the one you and I dinked up at HKSP? If so, I just shoved the sleeve back in place and it was working fine then. MD

If so, I just shoved the sleeve back in place and it was working fine then. MD I don't know if it was that one, however the one I used @ Wine ( I'm thinking #2 for some reason, if they're #ed) must of popped off 20 times. I agree you just have to push it back on, but that got old after having to stop for every bump in the trail, not to mention that thing is HOT. Got to where I could kick it back on. Looked like a rigid L shaped bracket/strap was suppose to hold it, but it has been push back & forth so much its week and not able to hold its position, probably won't last much longer - metal fatigue. Its been off & on so many times that the engine exhaust outlet the muffler inlet fits over is deformed.

Anything happen in order to fix the muffler bracket on the other DR? I took the muffler off, straightened out the bent pipes, sanded off a bunch of rust, straightened the bracket, and put it back together. It was the one we whacked off at HKSP. To Mark Y: Anti-rotation strap installed. MD
