I'll see how close/slow/far behind I am at Wildwood and make the call from there. I don't mind riding back by myself. I just want to get back before dark and under my own power. We should exchange cell phone numbers among the group, just in case... My # is (seven 06) fiveone3 fivefive2three I have no intention of riding the whole route. My longest ride this season is 36 miles, and that is a big jump up to 60+. My plan is to do a round trip of Bartram -> Keg -> Bartram, or Bartram -> Keg -> Mistletoe -> back to Keg. This just depends on where I want to leave my truck.

[or Bartram -> Keg -> Mistletoe -> back to Keg. . West Dam - WW - Keg - M'toe - Keg is what I thought made sense. You ride it all, once. Except the short connector b/n K and M you ride both ways. That is the route I plan to do when the trees are gone.

I'm starting to like the West Dam-> Wildwood-> Keg-> M'toe-> Keg route. With my car at Keg, I have three options to bail: after Wildwood, after Keg, or after M'toe.
Staging cars/water is gonna be tricky. Depending upon who/when/where bailing happens, gotta make sure at least one accessible car remains at Keg and/or Petersburg. I'm fairly certain that I will not make the the round trip from West Dam.
I don't live too far away so, after a shower and a nap, I could drive back later that day/evening and help shuttle folks back to their cars...

Not riding, but I live in the Greenbrier area and would be happy to carry two bikes/bikers to a drop off point if you want to leave your car somewhere. seven-oh-six-three-three-nine-nine-four-nine-seven. (I don't mind getting up early) Just let me know ahead of time of course.

Excellent. I didn't want to ride bartram all by my lonesome lol. Here's the plan: Meet @ 6:45am at Pollards corner. We'll leave Nitro's and dsquared's cars at Keg. We'll leave either mine or Teds at Petersburg, and take the other to the start at West Dam. Shouldn't need any shuttles then.

So you're in?
I'm looking forward to it. Downed trees and all. Haven't had a big day on the bike in way too long.

I cleaned the 2 very large tree messes and 2 smaller ones at Wildwood today - that one that was posted earlier on this thread was really something - maybe largest single tree mess I've ever encountered.
