Angela,
Will you please send an email to our members seeking volunteers for the IMBA Summit. See the following:
The 2010 IMBA Summit is quickly approaching and we need volunteers!!!
Please forward this email to Paul Farrow, our wonderful SORBA-CSRA president, and he will get you added to the volunteer schedule - pfarrow@comcast.net.
If you don't ride a bike, no problem, there will be plenty of non-riding opportunities for you! If you work odd hours - no problem - there are lots of times available too!
I am also looking for people to help me with the silent auction on Thursday night at the Imperial Theatre. There will be a film festival there that night and all IMBA/SORBA members are invited to attend. It will be sponsored by New Belgium Brewing Company. Just let me know if there are any auction items you can score for us! I need people for film night that could help set up Thursday 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., run the auction and help with pay out and pick up after the films.
If you have any friends who might be willing to help please feel free to forward this email to them.
Volunteers are needed at the Marriott for pre-summit activities on Monday and Tuesday and for summit activities at the Marriott for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday (May 3rd to 8th).

Trail News
The leaves are finally on the trees and the trails are drying up pretty quickly after a rain. Now is the time to put a pair of hand loppers or a small folding saw in your hydropack and then when you have to stop and wait for your slow friends to catch up with you take a few minutes to nip some of the sticker vines encroaching the trail or plant overgrowth that keeps slapping you in the face!
Please utilize the SORBA-CSRA.ORG forum for up-to-date information on the trails!
Volunteers – Thank you!
18 folks built a 94' boardwalk in under 4 hours on the Augusta Canal Singletrack. It is amazing and fun to ride, complete with carpenter's cloth to keep good traction on the boardwalk.

VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION
If you do work on the trails please let me know, all work is greatly appreciated and we want to recognize your efforts! Please print your name whenever possible on the volunteer forms – cursive writing is hard to decipher at times.
Thanks to all the folks who routinely do work on the trails we ride. Whether it is stopping for a moment to remove obstacles on the trail or an unscheduled work party with chainsaws, etc and everything in between, your work is appreciated!
Be safe!
