The two of us cleaned drains on Great Wall, ccw from the bottom of the gravel road; we made it a little ways past the GW proper. Counted 6 spots still left to get to the top. There is a 50' section that was a mess; fairly flat; it will probably need armor, but we'll look at it in a few weeks.

From what I have seen over the last two weekends....
There are alot of bricks dispersed on the Brown Wave. Many of the spots on BW that need work just need someone to walk in with a tool and do the work. Mud hole is there, armor material is there or nearby. There are some bricks on BW that I am not sure what yhey are there for. Brown Wave Proper could use some. But I'd say BW doesn't need anymore brick delivered. I made a map of the work needed on the BW and will work on it a bit more then post it.
The most pressing work needed at FATS is on Big Rock. This loop was being poached the most and the North or NW side of it has maybe a dozen spots that need some armor in them. They will be fine once the summer time comes, but if nothing is done, they will always be muddy in the winter. Some of them are getting deep.
Overall, I thought the trails were in great shape. I think they made it thru the wettest winter in a while with flyin' colors.

That's to be expected when a trail system is closed down for months. We all seem to be shocked that the other, non-pampered trails, seem to suffer from a season of 50" of rain. Don't be. Ride, maintain, volunteer. If we all do the above, we won't need to close any trails. Especially the ones built for sustainability. MD
