Definately LOVE riding that trail! Especially in the warmer months when I can stop and cool off in the lake. I "discovered" it early last year and I've been going back ever since. That's why I could tell it was in need of a little TLC.
Thanks for all your hard work, it will be a great summer indeed!

Been out to this trail several times already this year, including yesterday ( 4/17 ). The last month or so has not been kind. There are about a dozen trees down, on both the lake loop, and a few down on turkey as well. It seems there are at least 3 or 4 trees down within the last 3 weeks or so on lakeview.
I tried to tidy up as much as possible, but a chainsaw is badly needed.

I was in the FATS Case Study session and it was fantastic. It was VERY interesting to hear those guys tell their stories. Phil's story def needs to be told and retold!

myself and a few friends in the Athens area go up there about 3 times a year to ride this system. There are some great trails and its very scenic! Definately easy to get lost there as most of the trails are not marked. However I found this fantastic map (click all sizes for a larger version!): www.flickr.com/photos/brado1/2435970785/Here are some pics that I've taken up there over the years, it should give you an idea of what they've got going on up there, including the freeride/downhill stuff. www.flickr.com/search/?q=clemson&w=73577994%40N00Unfortunately for those who'd want to ride that stuff, the freeride features were not in the best of shape, seems like it could use some maintenance...
