Aaaaarrrgh! C'mon Jimmy! Here I am sitting on the fence, getting ready to order a Salsa Mamasita 29er frame, and you throw this out! I have ridden nothing but FS since '94 (think the first Manitou FS), but really, really want to drink the 29er koolaid, and then you toss out some reality! MD (minor hijacking admitted, DG) The solution is very simple MD - get a full suspension 29er. ;D Nitro - you need to post a pic of your new steed. Talk about bike porn. Really love my Stumpjumper FSR (26"). It feels like a good old leather glove. I want to try the 29er thing, but not FS. I have tons of parts and pieces around the house, so I need three things: frame, fork, wheels. That's it. FATS and the Lake Trail are perfection for a HT, and as much as I have been getting into the pavel thing for the past 12 months, a 29er HT just makes sense for me right now. MD

Hey Dustin. It might be a couple of weeks before I have all the parts I need for my old frame. If you still aren't using the conversion kit then, I would love to give it a shot. How many teeth on the rear chainring?

I've got my entire old cassette, so you can let me know what size you need and I'll bring the closest thing I've got.

Well I definetly wont be buying another frame or bike anytime soon. My company had some lay offs today Luckily I wasn't one of them, but could be next time. I've only been here a year and a half. No need in spending money on things I don't "need" right now.
