Rode Turkey and Wine creek today. Wine REALLY needs mowing and Lopping. Nettles are bad thoughout and there is a lot of Poison Ivy mixed in.
Ticks are bad as well - I picked up 5 today.
There are a couple of non-riders out there as well.

We, SORBA-CSRA, schedule a big mow-a-thon to handle the cutting and trail work on Wine/Turkey once a year in May or June. Typically don't want to do it too soon or a once a year work party that requires a lot of people and equipment could turn into a twice a year need since our growing season is so long. This will be a discussion at the May SORBA-CSRA meeting as to when we can schedule. Be sure and sign up and encourage all others to sign up once it is posted!

And I've chased the DR just about every year on this work party for the past 5...
I was observing that the trail is in bad shape and that we need to address this.
This IS the trail conditions thread.

Absolutely! Just not sure who everyone is (with the pseudonyms) and wanted to let folks know that this is a scheduled workparty that occurs every year in May/June on these trails!! And now that I know who you are I will be the first to attest to the fact that you step up far more than your fair share when it comes to trail work!!
