A new trail is now open that connects the blue-blazed Rock Dam Trail to the western end of Ridge Road. To get there: Go past Pollard's Corner on Washington Road about 3 miles or so and turn left on Ridge Road. Go to where the pavement ends and proceed straight on gravel for about 100 yards where several woods roads intersect. Park here. If the brown gate is closed, just park along the road in front of it. From the end of the pavement, stay left on your bike, around the white gate on a woods road for 0.95 miles. Then you'll see pink flagging at the entry to new singletrack. This is flagged for 0.43 miles to the intersection of the blue-blazed Rock Dam Trail for a total of 1.38 miles. There's a neat stream crossing on solid rock. There's about 18 miles of bike trails in the park with Rock Dam being the best. There is also quite a network of gravel roads and woods roads in the that area.

Road the new loop at Mistletoe that intersects with Blue Blaze Rock Dam Trail late Saturday afternoon . Nice ! Only going to get better ! Needs riding though ! Great back way to the park without parking irritations .
