A ribbon cutting is planned for the River Levee Trail (the new paved path with the bridges that runs along River Watch Parkway)on Monday, October 6th at 11AM. They would like to have some bike riders in the background during the ribbon cutting. I have no contact information but if you are free and want to help (or be a star) they would appreciate your help. Advise if you ride down to help that you get there about 10:45AM. They will be meeting near the new toilet next to the 1st bridge (if you are traveling towards downtown). This is the bridge where the ribbon cutting will be held> Picture of the 2nd bridge>

That is cool n all.
But imagine how much singletrack could have been built with that money instead.
Over 100 miles at least.
I'd pick the single.
Still a cool bridge, though.
