We have some fall cleanup to be done and Horn Creek is up next. If you can give three or four hours on Sunday morning your help would be greatly appreciated. We have 150 miles of singletrack in this area to be maintain and with many land managers across the nation looking at their trail inventories and wanting to close down trails that are not being utilized......we really need to keep all our trails viable. Even if you never ride this trail if you have the time come on! If you are able to come out and lend a hand please drop me an email right HERE
Thanks, Angela

Rode it this am since FATS was closed.
Non rider trees down in sections 2,3, and 4. Needs mowing badly. Marker at the apex of the hidden curve in section 5 is down. Did I mention, it needs mowing?
Otherwise, in pretty good shape.

We had 10 adult volunteers and 2 little ladies come out for Sunday's work party. Two volunteers had arrived early to remove all the trees off the trail and the others jumped in to take care of all the major mowing, hedging and weed whacking needed along the 6 miles of trail. A final review confirmed that Horn Creek is back ready to ride! Thanks to all the volunteers who came out, if you haven't had the opportunity to come out and volunteer yet, there will be an opportunity or two before year end! Here are a few images from the day> Getting signed in Jon and Larry heading out on section 2 David, Ross, Sarah and Hannah getting ready to roll on section 3 David and Ross plus loppers Sarah and Hannah heading down section 3 David (SORBAcsra President) doing double duty, after volunteering in the earlier work party to cut all the trees off the trail, a change and back into the woods with a trimmer to help clear more trail Some areas needed more than one swipe with the DR mower Another of the before and after pictures from section 4
