We will try again and hopefully the weather will cooperate!
Sunday, August 3rd is the next available day we can get a work party scheduled at Wine Creek/Turkey Creek. August will be pretty well filled up by preparation for the Wildwood Games.
We will need the DR mowers, the hedgers, chainsaws and some people lopping out there to get the trail cleaned up. If we do not have enough volunteers to run the equipment or do supplementary lopping we will just do what we are able to get done with available resources.
Plan will be to start at 8am and be finished by noontime. If you are able to help please respond to this post with contact information or send us an email at SORBAcsra
The Explore the Trail Ride for September will be at Wine/Turkey so would be great to get this trail cleaned up before then.
Thank you! More information to come.

Thanks Larr - I will be updating with information as soon as I get a recount of volunteers for the Mow-A-Thon, it is on for next weekend as long as the weather holds!

Had 11 people volunteer who managed to hit all the worst spots on Turkey Creek with two of the DR mowers and 3 of the Stihl hedgers. Also did a little additional work on the entrance to Wine Creek. Our trails get a lot of compliments from riders coming in from out of town, the condition they are in is not an accident, they happen because we have some pretty dedicated volunteers. We need more volunteers out there at the work parties, your help is greatly needed to keep this 150 miles of singletrack in good condition! Thank you!
