p.s. I should add that SORBAcsra has spoken to both Lake Thurmond Campgrounds and the Army Corps of Engineers about this disappointing turn of events. Unfortunately, resolution of this funding/money issue requires the intervention of congress (yeah, I know
). If you happen to be communicating with your member(s) of congress about any other issues, please be sure to mention your support for these types of partnerships, which keep more facilities around Lake Thurmond open and operating.
