When: Saturday September 7th, 2013 at 9am Where: Turkey Creek/Wine Creek intersection (meet at the gravel parking lot at Price's Bottom - this is a gravel road on the left just before the bridge on Key Road - FS641) What: For September's EtTR, it is definitely a favorite of our riders who are looking for a great ride with some real trail features. Great work party this past weekend to get Turkey Creek mowed, hedged and fallen trees removed to be ready for this ride. That was a lot of work to get this trail ready for this ride, come on out and check out their handiwork. This is an intermediate level trail for our area but as long as you are a reasonably fit rider you can enjoy this 7+ mile in/out trail. Back before there was a FATS and a Bartram Trail this was one of the most popular trails in the area. There will be ride leaders and sweepers so no one left behind. You do not have to be a member of SORBAcsra to join us so bring your family and friends. In the event the weather or trail conditions are not acceptable, the ride will be cancelled so watch for postings here! Questions?? email us at SORBAcsra or post here Google map linkDescription of the trail

Eleven folks showed up for the Explore the Trails Ride this morning at Turkey Creek. Trail was in great shape; the tread was dry, sides were mowed, and there were a few tricky dips to keep you on your toes. Despite the mow-a-thon, there are several new trees down across the trail, including one monster. Thank you for your support. Most of the crew returning from the long haul; none worse for the experience Trail sweepers, finished sweeping

Here is one I took of Cas. She liked the trail but was suffering bad allergies. We will be back.
