Trail conditions were great! Having only ridden FATS and Keg Creek previously, the obstacles on the Mistletoe trail were a little surprising to me. Including this one, once I realized the ONLY way across seemed to actually be through ~6 inches of water! I walked across the Rock Dam.. To actually ride it, I'm guessing you have to be going fast enough to drop off the trail ~1.5ft onto the dam? Doesn't seem too difficult, but the hazards to the side make it pretty intimidating.

Only 6", sounds like the water was low. Instead of riding Rock Dam you can ride about 20ft down stream of it.

Yup, BrianW's right on both accounts. I've seen that creek knee high before! Here's another pic of it, and it wasn't all that deep this day either, but I seem to remember that it was really cold. Here's the creek crossing just downstream of the dam (which you can see in the background). This is an easy spot to cross, just go fast so you can make it up the bank with minimal pedalling. Whatever you do, do NOT ride the dam if there's water flowing over it. It's very very very slick. Just ask TedS ;D Glad you enjoyed Mistletoe, it's one of my favorites in town. Link it up with Keg for a really really good 25 mile ride.
