What a night! First and foremost HUGE thank you to the folks that helped clean up the trail. It was a mess. Me, David K., and Michael D. started a clean up lap around 5:15 and were joined by many others as we worked our way around the loop. It took until 6:30 to finish that lap! There was a lot of debris down and several messy spots where trees had come down.
But once we got it cleared - the trail was fast - we had HERO DIRT! Last night's rain was just what that trail needed. It was super tacky and grippy but not at all muddy or slow, it was perfect. Pretty much everyone was faster this week than they were the first time we raced CCW.
We had 28 racers this week, once again, the largest crowd yet. So far 42 different people have raced....I don't know what we're going to do if all of you show up next week!! Okay, on to the results!

And now for the updated Overall times! Pretty much everyone improved their Overall time this week. A few folks are close to moving up a spot...or down!! There's a close race for 1st in both the Beginner and Sport class. Nick Vrettos is a podium threat in Sport if he can keep from tacoing his wheel next week. In Expert Josh is sitting pretty in first place, but if John Phelan shows up next week it could get interesting (John won Race #1 but has not race CW yet, so doesn't have an overall time yet). Trent and I are fighting for 2nd, but if Josh Bennet races next week it'll be a 3 person battle. Things are getting interesting!

Again, thanks to everyone who helped clear the trail, and the Allen's who were once again there to help with course marshaling and timing.
I saw lots of cameras there tonight, so post up your pics or vids! My freakin' camera froze and didn't get my lap But it did get this video, which will give you a good feel for the atmosphere at the CCTT ;D Love the skid at the end!
Next week is the 4th and final race of the year! See you there!
Please let me know if there are any errors in timing, spelling, etc.
