edited 08/14/12 08/15/12: uploaded images of the final-final jersey designs and edited text.Images of the FINAL are jersey design are shown below. Men's LargeWomen's MediumThe image below is a flat file showing detail of the chain ring, which is round (you can ignore the dashed red lines). Men's LargeNote: as the jersey size increases (from the Large shown), additional material needed on the sides/waist hem for XL, 2X, and 3X will show more background design (which is largely trees). In contrast, with smaller sized jerseys the side seams will progressively move in toward the center line of the design. On a small sized jersey, the chain ring bolt holes (located at 3 and 9 o'clock) should be closer to (or very near) the side seams. • Each jersey will be a $60 donation, with Primal donating $10 from each jersey to SORBAcsra and $1 to IMBA. • There will be two style choices and you pick a size from one of these two choices. Choice 1. Men's Sport Cut, Short Sleeve, Raglan Sleeve, full-length zipper. From the Primal website: Our Sport Cut apparel is designed to fit comfortably for any style of rider. The Sport Cut Cycling Jersey is made for events, teams, and club level riders that want a superior quality cycling product. This jersey maximizes the visible graphic area without compromising the fit or performance.Choice 2. Women's Sport Cut, Short Sleeve, Raglan Sleeve, full-length zipper. From the Primal website: Our Sport Cut apparel is designed to fit comfortably for any style of rider. The Women's Sport Cut Cycling Jersey is made for events, teams, and club level riders that want a superior quality cycling product. A women's specific cut with cap sleeves and no elastic at the sleeves or waist. This jersey also maximizes the visible graphic area without compromising the fit or performance.• There are seven sizes available for each style choice: XS, SM, MD, LG, XL, 2X, 3X. • More information about how to order your jersey will be posted in the next day or two. We are aiming to submit an order for the first run of jerseys 10 days after the ordering site goes live. Stay tuned... Thank you for your patience and support.

Absolutely gorgeous. Two of those will be worn with pride here, and two of those will be worn with great representation in Arizona (great CHRISTmas presents!). Look forward to pulling them over the head. MD

Massive kudos to everyone involved in getting these designed! They look AWESOME! I'll be buying one for sure.
Question - is it a full length zipper?

Question - is it a full length zipper? Don't just look at the pictures, read the description too. I was told that full length zipper is same price as 3/4 zipper, so we will go with full length zipper.

That jersey looks amazing. I just got permission to buy one. I may have to wait until the second order though. I'll be able to order the jersey and join SORBA at the same time.

The first post in this thread has been updated to show the (final-final) 2012 SORBAcsra jersey design. We'll post when the online ordering page goes live. Once live, you have 10 days to order your jersey. If there is enough interest (at least 15 of the same style) after this first run of jerseys, we can consider a second run of jerseys in November or December. Stay tuned!

If you are unsure about what size jersey to order, you might check the Primal Fit Guide for more information.

Many of you have not worn a Primal jersey before, and seem to be unsure about what size to order. I understand the trepidation about buying a $60 piece of clothing before trying it on, soooo...
I ordered fit kits today from Primal, and will hopefully get them here soon. Basically, Primal is going to send me samples of their shirts in all sizes, in sport cut, both men and women.
When I get them, all you have to do is get in touch with me and you can either meet me at the trailhead, or drop by here at the house and try on the jerseys. Figure out what size fits you and then order the real deal.
Caveat: I will not have these for long. If Primal doesn't get them back within a couple of weeks, then I get charged for a bunch of shirts that I don't want! So, if you are considering buying a SORBA/CSRA jersey in the next year or so, you may want to drop by.

We are now taking orders for the first run of SORBAcsra jerseys. You can find the form on this SORBAcsra web page. Please read the form carefully and be sure to select the choice(s) appropriate for local pickup or out-of-town shipping. Orders will be taken through (at least) Sunday August, 24th. Each jersey is a $60 donation, with Primal donating $10 back to SORBAcsra and $1 to IMBA. This is a win-win-win. If you miss the opportunity to order a jersey in the next 10 days, and there is enough interest to order 15 of one style, we can organize a second run of jerseys in November or December.

How is Primal's sizing compared to Voyer? I wear the same size jersey for Voler's NMBP jersey (the old style) and Primal's Urban Fit (the new style NMBP jersey) if that helps.

And if you don't catch up with Michael before then, we will have the fit kits at our tent in the main FATS parking lot next Saturday, August 25th. Stop by between 9 and 12 and check the fit if you plan to order anytime in the future. We'll also have the FATS stickers with us and if you have been thinking or planning on joining SORBA-CSRA ask us about membership when you stop by, we'll have forms with us!

Just a heads up...We have met and exceeded the minimum order of 15 for men's jerseys. However, we need a minimum of 15 jerseys in women's sizes to be able to order women's jerseys. Four women's jerseys have been ordered, so we need 11 more women's jerseys to be ordered. Maybe you're waiting for the fitting party next Saturday at FATS? Regardless, and even if you already ordered a jersey, don't forget about your mother, sister, daughter, niece, aunt, grandma, girlfriend, wife, or lover. Why wouldn't they want to sport a SORBAcsra jersey too?

LOL...for some reason this is very funny to me Koz....maybe I can imagine you saying it.
Anyway, can't wait to get my jersey but all my biking girlfriends will probably be buying their own. I don't think Grandma wants one.

Don't forget to stop by the SORBAcsra tent Saturday morning from 9 to 12 to try on one of Primal's fit kit jerseys if you are thinking of ordering one of the new SORBAcsra jerseys anytime in the next year. Jersey sizes can be a bit well - different from normal sizing so getting the proper fit is important. It has particularly been an issue with some of the ladies jerseys - a couple of the ladies have tried on the fit kit jerseys thinking they needed a medium and in fact needed a small. Also if we don't have 15 gals order for this first ordering round on August 27th we will have to wait until we can get that minimum number to place an order! We'll also have some FATS stickers and membership information if you need it!

As of Saturday afternoon we have orders for 51 jerseys (45 men's jerseys and 6 women's jerseys). We need a minimum of 15 women's jerseys to be able to order women's jerseys at the discounted price of $60 (with $10 of that price donated from Primal back to SORBAcsra).
Hopefully you were able to stop by FATS today and find your jersey size using the fit kit. Regardless, place your order by Sunday night - Monday morning at the latest or you'll have to wait until there is enough interest (min. 15 men's or 15 women's jerseys) for a second order, which could be as soon as this fall or could be later...
