Below are a few pictures Ken Y. (erdnock) took in the morning and later in the afternoon (the commentary, good, bad, or ugly is mine). At the end is a link to all the photos Ken took. The handsome fellow on the left is thinking 39 minutes, the guy in the middle will spread his wings today, and on the right, he doesn't know it yet, but his day will be shorter than anticipated. Our volunteers are the best. You in the center, do you have a question? "Yes, can I get a new SORBAcsra jersey in pink"? The fat bike will run a fast lap. ...and they're off... The rocks at the beginning of Section 1; most rode, some walked, and at least one who tumbled was humbled. Blinging it on with the purple spokes. 'nuff said. Solo rider, killin' it. JT is trying to figure out what is going on near the start/finish line. Mr. P. seems to be using more than his fair share of the atmosphere. One of the last laps before nightfall. More photos can be found at this link: erdnock's BD 2012

Koz, thanks for sharing Ken's super pics and for the commentary. You can be pretty funny when you're not doggin' people. LOL ;o)

Great pics Ken and Michael! It takes a very long time to just get through the pics you take at an event like this much less select and post them! Keep 'em coming!

Since posting of the official results from the race last weekend is long overdue, I have attached a PDF of results taken from the trailer at the end of the night. Alternatively, you can also view the PDF on Google Docs. Next year, we'll have the results posted in a more timely manner. Thank you to all the volunteers and racers. Attachments:

Is there a tentative date in the works for a bakers dozen in 2013? Or any other events in the general area like it?

Or any other events in the general area like it? Not really "in the area" exactly, but check out the Chainbuster series of 6hr races. Good fun, and nice chances to tune up and practice for the Baker's Dozen. The next one is at Conyers, which is pretty close. I did the first race of the series last weekend and had a lot of fun. Would be great to see more CSRA riders representing at these type races.
