As you know from the January newsletter and recent email from SORBAcsra, we held a vote at the monthly meeting last night to determine which of the final four designs would be the new SORBAcsra logo. Including absentee votes, nearly 20% of our members cast a vote for their favorite design. Drum roll please...With 63% of the votes, the winning design was Logo A. This design will be the logo used for all official SORBAcsra communications (i.e., letterhead, webpage, newsletter). Logo A For those folks who like details, Logo D came in 2nd place with 20% of the vote, then Logo B with 12% of the vote, and Logo C with 5% of the vote. Thank you to all the members who voted. I would like to acknowledge Jay Nalley for his hard work and creativity during the logo design process. Jay provided us with many outstanding logo concepts and patiently worked with us through several rounds of revisions, so that we could offer the membership four excellent choices. Thank you Jay. In the very near future, we will continue to work with Jay and begin designing a club jersey that will incorporate the new club logo. Similar to the process we used to choose the logo, I anticipate that we will have several jersey designs, which will be presented to, and voted on by, the SORBAcsra membership. Stay tuned...

Nice. Thanks to everyone involved in getting this done. I'll get the website updated this weekend to incorporate the new logo.

Yes.
We still need to make a few minor tweaks, but the goal is to have a final design done by the monthly meeting on June 12th. Drafts of the design were previewed at the last two monthly meetings and the feedback from members was overwhelmingly positive.
IMBA and Primal have teamed up to offer a special deal on custom jerseys, so we will go with Primal as the manufacturer. Stay tuned for more details - or get them fresh at the monthly meeting.
