f & t- thanks for riding the CSRA trails and Modoc in particular, and for helping to clean the trails. This year has been one of the worst in memory for vegetation taking over the trails, and we have plans to cut Modoc, but..... If you liked Modoc, you will like Mistletoe State Park. It is helpful to have a guide the first time, so post a request or send me a message and we'll show you another gnarly trail.

JT- thanks bro. The lush vegitation is good to see on the hillsides, but kinda freaky when you're plowing along where you assume the trail to be and hope theres no hidden treasures (logs, holes, snakes- Hah!). we'd love to hook up w/ someone for new routes. we had Modoc to ourselves all day, not a soul out there. it was pretty cool, but we like to share the stoke too ;D We'll post next time we're headed up, always up for something new & challenging. Tchuss- F&T

Rode last night and I was surprised at what good shape the trail was in. The grass has pulled back from the trail compared to several weeks ago; the only thick spot is the "meadow" at about 5 miles. There are two places where a log is part-way in the trail, but they'll have to wait for some other trees to fall.
