Ran this morning at the Boshears Ground Loop (Yetichick got podium), then headed out around noon to McCormick to clear HKSP. We ended up with 20 trees off the Lakeview Loop, and cut 8 off Turkey Ridge in the first 100 yards.
Enough for today. Did not ride the rest of TR to know if it was clear or not.
WOW - ran in the event and then went and cut off 28 trees! I think you two must be eating your Wheaties!!! That is incredible and much, much needed. Thanks so much for your dedicated sawyer work, don't know where we'd be without it!
Don't you just love pulling the BOB into the trail for sawyer work? It is so much faster than hiking in and out!
Great job you two! YC, it's pretty much guaranteed that you're gonna podium every race you're in! Love it! Thanks for your work. You two have more energy than anyone else I know. Particularly since you did a century road ride yesterday to top it off!
"Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money." ~Cree Nation quote
Rode HKSP yesterday- both loops in great condition. Lots of fun with the leaves down. I cut one tree off each loop. I presume MD/BD got the rest of the trees off Turkey Ridge sometime after the pictures above?
No, we haven't been back out there. We didn't ride Turkey Ridge that day, so don't know if there were any other trees on the loop. We did take out the trees at the entrance. Glad to know it is in great condition, and thanks for taking out the 2 trees. Beautiful day for a ride!
