Today was fun. We got there pretty late, took a quick ride on a few smoooooooooth riding road bikes then enjoyed the bike games. I took some videos but they're way bright, I forgot to adjust the lighting settings since I used it last time (at the drag strip Thursday night).
Good times. I sucked it up in the bunny hop this year, but the long jump was a lot of fun! I was really glad a lot of folks gave it a try and participated.
A great BikeFest despite the weather - had well over 60 people at one count during dinner but total overall count unknown since people came and went during different parts of BikeFest as they do every year. The wind was pretty brutal but it was a hardy bunch! Here are a few pictures and videos.
Starting to gather for the bike ride -
The Specialized tent had a lot of people eager to try their bikes!
Ghost Bike game
Wheel Toss
Limbo action -
The grillmasters! Thank you the brats, hotdogs and hamburgers were great....
The chowline -
Dinner -
This first group of riders out!
Riders heading out 12 to 30 miles -
The new game - the long jump was very popular - action off the end of that ramp was very cool...thanks Dustin and Drew!
Here is the link to the photos I snapped - I just dumped them all in just in case someone was looking for a particular shot:

This was our third or fourth BikeFest...and they keep getting better every year. Thank you to all the volunteers, cooks, ride and game leaders, and demo bike folks.
We're already looking forward to next year.
Do you enjoy our trails?
If so, can you volunteer 4 hours for trail work in 2013 or, if you're too busy, donate $40 to SORBAcsra?
We always look forward to this weekend, and my buddy (college roommate from The Citadel '85) always shows up to help me. What a great weekend. There are numerous events that need to be pulled together. What a great group we have. Thanks to everyone, including every single person that shows up. I hope it continues to be successful.
