SEPTEMBER 24 Number 1: FATS Meet in the main parking lot at 8:30. This will be a rolling workparty to clip and lop the trails. Bring clippers, loppers and saws that you can carry in your hydration packs. We have a few tools to share. If we have enough people we can cut a couple of the crossings.
Number 2: Bartram - Lake Trail Time and meet location to be determined. We need up to 4 more workers to do some basic clearing and then attend the National Public Lands Day lunch to be provided by Corps of Engineers.
Please let me know if you would like to volunteer for either event by responding to sorba.csra@gmail.com
Thanks, Daniel

We currently only have 6 volunteers signed up total, if we don't get enough workers to do both events we will support the Bartram Trail work party (it is the work party we schedule for National Public Lands Day each year) and FATS will have to be postponed until another time.
Riding the Brown Wave a couple of evenings ago, it would definitely would be great to have that rolling work party team hit that loop (and the others) to get rid of the face slappers and eye pokers that have developed and continue to encroach the trail due to the burn.
