Horn Creek is in great condition. Had a great ride today with YetiChick. Kinda haten' on her with the nearly 6" of travel she has. The trail has seen quite a few riders since the rains we got Friday. Lots of tread tracks. Hikers out there today also. One non-rider in section 4. Totally blocks the trail. We will try to get it out next weekend. One rider in section 2. MD

Parked in the pull-out at section 4/5. Walked in and got the one chest-high rider out on section 4. Headed back to the Explorer and changed. Hit the trail. Love section 2! Got into section 3. Same scenario as a month or so ago. There are probably a hundred pines, dead as the day is long, waving in the breeze, about 150 yards into the section riding CW. Once again, at least half a dozen had entangled themselves and made the trail disappear. It was flat gone for two hundred yards. Backtracked, took the gravel road up to the winter parking lot, re-entered the trail and rode back to the vehicle. Drove down to the concrete bridges, parked, hiked in, cut at least a half dozen trees, and came home. Great day. Came across hikers. No cyclists today. Those that are familiar with the Lick Fork Recreation Area will love the improvements made in the day-use area. Should all be back open this spring. I hope we can do the BD11 here MD
