I thought I heard that some of the land between the water works road and Pollard's land on the new section of Bartram was previously leased out to hunters. Thinking near were SORBA built a bridge. If so is this still the case? Will COE close a section of the trail because of it?

You were misinformed. The federal gov't does not lease land to hunt clubs.
The federal gov't doesn't spend money building trails on private property.
The two are mutually exclusive of one another.
All that said, the Gazebo you pass on New Bartram is on private property. So the trail comes very close to private property in this spot (and others). So, there could be a hunt lease very close to the trail, but I can't see how the trail actually is part of the leased land.
I have heard talk of the ACOE closing Bartram for a while during hunting season. But I think it is simply "piggybacking" on the FATS closure. I don't think it will be closed for hunting season.

BV is right -- But I believe that Pollard does lease to one or more clubs on his land. And I think that ACOE talked to at least one of them prior to new Bartram being built just to grease the skids.

is the section through Wildwood closed? (I do not think so) thinking of riding Keg Saturday and might add this section for some additional mileage.
