Parked at Big Rock. Rode Northern Loop. Then figure 8 ride to metal bridge and crossed it. Rode singletrack on other side of bridge for the first time in years. Rooty, but great. Crossed paved rode and stayed on trail. Next section looked pretty overgrown still so we rode pavement to the bottom of 9 Minute trail and climbed it. It is more like 19 Minute Trail in that direction, but still great. This part has a couple of the old school steepies that will get your attention. I ran out of water in this section and so did the rider behind me.
We got to Fell, filled up with water and rode back to Big Rock. 31.1 miles on the GPS....probably 32-33 miles with 2100 feet of elevation gain.
LCHT has a great variety and when you add in 9 Minute Trail and a couple of other old school sections, it get even more variety.
This is a great ride. Best legal MTB ride on the Long Cane Ranger District, IMHO.

Originally it was scheduled for LCHT, but we've already done one there this year. So it's going to be at Mistletoe instead, date TBA.
