Anybody tried the rope swing? I've seen it and kept thinking about it so finally today we went down and checked out the water and stuff to make sure it was safe and had a blast. Whoever put that there is awesome.

Its tied to a tree hanging over the river maybe about halfway through the canal trail. There's a platform on the branch right before it to jump off. The only reason I found it is because my girlfriend wiped out right by it. Riding the trail on an even day I'd say it's maybe a half mile before the split in the trail with the red X's.

Yep, I have seen people using the rope swing. Careful though -- I have seen a large water snake (maybe a Moccasin) around that area twice. That's enough to keep me from using it!

not to mention that part of the river is slow enough to have gators. I am kind of surprised that nobody has ever reporting seeing one especially along the ponds near Riverwatch. I know there are gators down around town.
