Plenty of great comments and photos on the Summit on the main SORBA forum. Awesome event and I only heard raves from everyone I talked to and rode with.

I liked the whole damn thing. SORBA CSRA was awesome. Augusta was awesome. I heard how cool Augusta was from many, many out of towners. They loved the riverwalk, the ampitheatre, the Imperial, the trails, the pumptrack. All of it.
I'd like to see something smaller, more regional happen like that again.

I never got tired of people telling me how good we've got it! I think it's the one thing I'll miss the most. That and J. Liebe. Tell Roland hello.
Usually it's me going to places like Pisgah and telling people up there how good THEY have it. We definitely live in Flow Country!

The pics are awesome! They took pictures of every aspect of the whole event. The only thing I don't see a picture of is the Impact Ride. For those of us that didn't get to everything, the pictures sure do show us what all was going on. I thoroughly enjoyed looking at them.

On behalf of the Augusta Sports Council I want to thank SORBA-CSRA for their outstanding efforts in hosting the IMBA World Summit. From everything I've heard our community really rose to the occasion, and folks left impressed with all we had to offer. For those that may not know, we presented the "Pillar Award" for community service to SORBA-CSRA at our GAMES Awards banquet last night. No group was more deserving. Thanks to you all for such a great experience!

Ted,
The broken helmet was at the double hump at the bottom of the dips. Is that the bloody stump? He was tough. He rode out albeit very slowly.
Answered all the questions properly but his eyes were very glazed over. Came close to calling BV for a medical but since he didn't get knocked out I thought he'd be okay as he had folks with him.

bloody stump is on GW at the bottom of a long stretch of brick armorring (going cw) so called named after a rider crashed/broke leg and left it bloody. Bloody stump is next to the GW trail, about 2-3 feet high in the backslope. I couldn't hit that thing if I tried. It is a hundred yards or less above the GW Proper (108' long concrete slab section). We did work that area to make it drain. In the process, the armor is gone. The bermed up low side that was insloped is now outsloped so it can drain. I hadn't ridden the GW CW in some time. Glad I did as the biggest negative to it it no longer there. The CW big DH was full of somewhat "pointy" rollers in the early days. These rollers have changed/eroded/rounded off at the top and are much more fun to ride over. Wondering the same thing about Deep Step CW as it had the same issue for me.

Yetichick had to have one, so the order was done. She's looking forward to sporting it.
