Rode Keg today and three trees are down. A 3"-5" one about 2 1/4 miles in CW, a 12"-14" one right after the new (great job on that one DP!) creek crossing, and another good sized one about 2/3 the way around.
Be glad to go help with the grunt work if someone can run the saw; just not in the next 7 days.

I think the third one is a rider - 1st one might come out with a hand saw - sounds like #2 needs a chainsaw. Could do it this month sometime.

If #2 is only 12 to 14 inches....sounds like a perfect rider to me. Tall enough to need some technique to get over, but very doable.
But, of course, as always, the rule of the chainsaw applies....

The first one is definitely hand saw doable, I just thought as long as there is a chainsaw there ayway.... One of them is a rider for some, there are scars already. The third is definitely not.

Took the saw in today and got #1 - a 5 incher that was a couple of feet off the ground. Didn't see any tree down near the new creek crossing - nor any sign of a fresh cut. Didn't have much time to look around too much - went about 1/4 mile in on N side of Dickey Branch.
