JC - I walked down to the spot today and saw the water flowing thru the pave. I thought it was great. Thanks for the work. We may need to armor above the big root in there. Prolly not an easy project. But plenty soft in that section. Wondering about the flowing water underneath the bricks. If they start to get undercut, we may have to dig a couple bricks in deeper and pitch them on their sides. We had a good weekend. Work on BW, Skinny and Big Rock. Ted has been out doing solo/family missions as well. Raining hard now. Wonder if all the dirt is already washed off the armoring we did today and it will just be rock. Either way, should be good to go. I went by the spot on the skinny this afternoon, was wanting to see how it held up with all the rain yesterday. Here are some pictures that I took. The bricks seemed to be pretty solid and steady. Only time will tell if the run off area can stay solid.

Money - that was awesome. Great pics.
I bet the trail surface was water for the most part, huh?

Money - that was awesome. Great pics. I bet the trail surface was water for the most part, huh? It sure was Bill. I was amazed at the amount of water that steadily moved through the trail as we put the armor down. There was more water today than on Saturday. Can you imagine what it looked like during the rain? I was glad to see the armoring still there, and the water flowing instead of standing. Thanks for the props everyone, it was a blast working with Jimmy C.

Hey Brian! We'll be having work parties going on just about every weekend between now and the Summit. Just keep your eyes on this forum message board for the next one. Bill V is looking for volunteers to help out again this coming weekend so let him know if you're available.
Hope to see you at the next gathering!

Overall, this spot is much better for the work that was done.
Thanks to those who did it.
