Come listen to more details about the IMBA Summit and find out about new trails coming to the Augusta area. Be sure to bring your bike to ride a short course (about 2 miles) after the short talk.
This is the perfect opportunity to provide a show of strength for the mountain biking community in Augusta - see you there!!

You're right about that Bill! So everybody put off your rides until after the ceremony downtown. We need to show the community how excited we are that our city's been chosen as the World Summit site!
I'll be there with the bike and in Bike Patrol uniform! FREE BEER for all who join me!!! Just kidding about the free beer part.

Just received some additional information about this Saturday's Summit Celebration from Angela Allen.
"A group of riding buddies planned to meet at the Savannah Rapids Pavilion at 8am on Saturday to ride down as a group to Augusta Commons for the announcement and celebration over the IMBA Summit coming to Augusta ....................we have since learned that Tom Sauret - Executive Director of SORBA - plans to meet us there and ride down to the Commons area with us.
That made me think there might be others out there that might want to join us for the ride down. And if you aren't located in Columbia County but wanted to join us - you could either ride up from Sibley Mill or wait for us there to complete the final couple of miles.
This Summit will more than likely be the biggest mountain biking event ever held in Augusta - we should take advantage of every opportunity to put our sport in the spotlight - come join us!
Angela"
Count me in!
