So, I took my slingblade down to the canal trail today and cut all the grass along the ponds.. I probably won't be able to move tomorrow, (at least my right arm), but I did work out a lot of frustration AND made the place a lot less itchier to ride.. ;D
Oh, and I now know why you guys have always used the DR for this task! I'm pooped!

Hey ross, you did pick up all the thorns right? Cause if you didn't, you really need to quit slacking. No point in doing something if you don't do it right you know.
Don't want a repeat of last week's flat fest!
(+1 for bustin' your butt working on the trail!!)

Funny you should mention that.. I thought about that, but then I thought, I'm riding STANS.. ;D I really didn't notice that many briar plants, I'd cut most of them back earlier in the year.. Drew is going to go out in the morning and do some work in the other bad areas.. I gave him my slingblade and demonstrated technique...

Did some more grass cutting yesterday morning from the corner with the dead log to the trail entrance.. Trail is really fast and is flowing really well right now..
