2012 CCTT #4 and Final Overal Results

Alrighty, sorry I'm late getting these posted! Here are the results from Round 4 as well as the final overall standings. It was another big year for the Canal Crown. Bigger crowds than before, more racers than before, more trail work than before, and six new SORBA-CSRA members!

Thanks to everyone who came out and raced, and all of the folks who volunteered to help with timing, course marshalling, and trail work.

The awards party last Friday was a lot of fun. Chad and Candace brought some awesome BBQ and Kim J. made some sides and her famous green cake. We raffled off some prizes, awarded the overall medals, and retold tales of glory, crashes, almosts, and fun times at the races this year. Good times indeed!



There was talk of another race series in the fall....so stay tuned. If nothing else, we will be attacking the canal trail again this winter for the Moonlight Time Trials! The Moonlight TT is an even more laid back version of the Canal Crown, in the dark, complete with bonfire and marshmallows.
